Our outpatient addiction treatment is fully customizable to fit your unique needs. Whether you prefer to attend scheduled therapy sessions while living at home or opt for the additional support of sober housing, we offer the structure and guidance necessary for long-term success. U Matter Therapy Model focuses on the whole person, including the underlying issues that impact a person’s well-being as well as being based on the truth that the more you focus on the problem, the bigger the problem gets. We accept most private insurance, but all insurance will be verified prior to admission.

Authorization of treatment will be obtained when the patient starts the program.

Telehealth for Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) (Virtual IOP)

U Matter offers a convenient and accessible way to receive structured mental health or substance use treatment from home. It involves participating in group and individual therapy sessions, as well as other treatment components, through a secure online platform and includes a combination of individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, skills training, and psychiatric check-ins, all delivered via telehealth. Our Telehealth IOP program utilizes evidence-based treatments, ensuring that the care provided is effective and aligned with best practices.

Our Telehealth platform used for IOP is HIPAA-compliant, ensuring the confidentiality and security of patient information.

Reduced Barriers to Treatment.

Our Telehealth eliminates barriers such as transportation issues, childcare needs, and time constraints, or court orders making it easier for individuals to participate in IOP.

We Accept Medi-Cal For Our Intensive Outpatient Program

To make treatment accessible, the federal-state had approved California’s Drug Medi-Cal Organized Delivery System (DMC-ODS) Waiver amendment in 2015. The amendment expanded its services to now cover a broader spectrum of individuals and scientifically-proven practices that aim to treat SUDs.

What is Medi-Cal?

Medi-Cal health insurance is a Medicaid Program specifically for the state of California. The federal government or state tax revenues pays for these programs considering that the individual is eligible for Medi-Cal.

Program Eligibility Criteria:

Available to attend program three-five days per week.
Demonstrate an ability to participate in and benefit from group treatment and individual therapy sessions.
Normal cognitive functioning that allows for active participation in program
Motivated for treatment.
Ability to concentrate.
Stable housing for the duration of the program.
Strong commitment to sobriety.
