Following inpatient detox and rehab, our treatment options provide greater freedom, flexibility, and a strong sense of community, allowing you to continue your recovery with the support you need.

Our outpatient addiction treatment is fully customizable to fit your unique needs. Whether you prefer to attend scheduled therapy sessions while living at home or opt for the additional support of sober housing, we offer the structure and guidance necessary for long-term success. U Matter Therapy Model focuses on the whole person, including the underlying issues that impact a person’s well-being as well as being based on the truth that the more you focus on the problem, the bigger the problem gets. The more you focus on the solution, the bigger the solution gets. We are committed to helping you find solutions. We focus on our client’s strengths and previous successes rather than on past failings and problems. We believe that the clients, themselves, possess the knowledge and wherewithal to solve their problems.

We accept most private insurance, but all insurance will be verified prior to admission.

At U Matter Therapy, we go beyond the symptoms such as anxiety and sadness and treat its underlying cause. U Matter IOP is a structured, non-residential treatment program for mental health and substance use disorders.

U Matter IOP is a group-based program that support individuals in their recovery. Our goal is to assist patients in achieving the highest level of independence. Our treatment program is time-limited and offers intensive, coordinated, and structured clinical services within a safe and stable therapeutic environment. Our programs are abstinence based.

Group participation is the primary therapeutic treatment modality. The program integrates psycho-educational, psycho-therapeutic, and activity-based groups to foster hope, self-determination, and empowerment in the healing process. While in the program, patients develop effective coping and interpersonal skills.

Program Eligibility Criteria:

Available to attend program three-five days per week.
Demonstrate an ability to participate in and benefit from group treatment and individual therapy sessions.
Normal cognitive functioning that allows for active participation in program
Motivated for treatment.
Ability to concentrate.
Stable housing for the duration of the program.
Strong commitment to sobriety.
